January, 1994 - VSysop Update.

The latest Virtual Sysop update is now online and the early feedback is overwhelmingly positive. If you have not tried this amazingly addictive simulation game yet, you are in for an exciting tour. The IFX Group has been working on this unique and trend setting game for many years packing it full of details that unfold as you play. Give it a try today.

February, 1994 - TDBS Development Continues.

The IFX Group is developing many new TDBS applications for TBBS systems all over the world. Keep a watchful eye on the files area for previews of these projects as they are beta tested.

March, 1994 - New Games.

The IFX Group now has even more entertainment choices as we work hard to create multi-user TBBS compatible versions of the more popular BBS door games. Vote for your favorites and suggest new games in our feedback area.

April, 1994 - We are moving!

After years of success and some of the best and most friendly users in the world, we must go forward. This move allows us to make a significant difference in the future of online services and we want to thank all of our dedicated users for helping us get here. We are working quickly to offer discounted methods of access to our service from long distance sources. Please keep watching our news area for the latest information.

May, 1994 - Welcome To Denver.

The IFX Group online service has successfully made the move to our new location in Denver, Colorado. This move is due to a big improvement in the economic situation of our group. We expect to have an even better selection of tools and services available too. Keep telling us what you need and we will do our best to meet those needs.

June, 1994 - Human Nature.

Tell us that there are billions of stars and we believe you. Tell us a bench has wet paint and we have to touch it. Why must we only question those things that leave marks?

July, 1994 - Close Enough?

Customer: I'm having a problem installing your software. I've got a fairly old computer, and when I type 'INSTALL', all it says is 'Bad command or file name'.

Tech Support: Ok, check the directory of the A: drive-go to A:\ and type 'dir'.

Customer reads off a list of file names, including 'INSTALL.EXE'.

Tech Support: All right, the correct file is there. Type 'INSTALL' again.

Customer: Ok. (pause) Still says 'Bad command or file name'.

Tech Support: Hmmm. The file's there in the correct place-it can't help but do something. Are you sure you're typing I-N-S-T-A-L-L and hitting the Enter key?

Customer: Yes, let me try it again. (pause) Nope, still 'Bad command or file name'.

Tech Support: (now really confused) Are you sure you're typing I-N-S-T-A-L-L and hitting the key that says 'Enter'?

Customer: Well, yeah. Although my N key is stuck, so I'm using the M key. Does that matter?

August, 1994 - IPAD Officially Announced.

The news from the ONE BBSCON in Atlanta is more than exciting. The BBS industry has reached the big time and corporate America is noticing. Sprint and AT&T were well represented along with big industry names like Hayes, eSoft, PC Board and Galacticom. The most promising news is a new toy from eSoft newly dubbed the IPAD. This device is designed to make it nearly trivial to connect any BBS to the Internet not only for email, but also to accept connections to your BBS directly from anyone, anywhere on the Internet. The IFX Group has already placed an early order for this amazing device and should have some exciting news for our users soon.

September, 1994 - IFX Group Telnet.

The IFX Group is now available through the Internet. You can dial into our modem lines for traditional high quality service or telnet to us through the Internet. The same great interface, the same great service and the same great custom games including the world famous Virtual Sysop.

October, 1994 - Disgruntled.

How come you don't ever hear about gruntled employees? And who has been diss-ing them anyhow?

November, 1994 - Seeing it all.

Tech Support: Ok, in the bottom left hand side of the screen, can you see the 'OK' button displayed?

Customer: Wow. How can you see my screen from there?

December, 1994 - Beauty and Brains.

Question: If you could live forever, would you and why?

Answer: I would not live forever, because we should not live forever, because if we were supposed to live forever, then we would live forever, but we cannot live forever, which is why I would not live forever. - Miss Alabama in the 1994 Miss Universe contest
